Continue readingAbout 12 years ago near Nîmes (F) I photographed the asphalted cobblestone road and two beautiful manhole covers brightly shining in the backlit. I was fascinated by the strong contrasts and deep shadows. In my eyes it was one of my favourite images of all our trip.
But I was alone with my opinion. My wife Arlette called it the “Sushi manhole covers”. What do manhole covers and Sushi have in common?
Unfortunately the original film negative has never been printed – the image is still eagerly waiting for it’s rediscovery in better times.

I was glad to have set up my tent earlier this afternoon – btw: can you spot it? – and the idea of cuddling into my comfortable down sleeping bag made me smile.

How often have I been rushed from meeting to meeting, flying over the streets of Zurich and was missing many inspiring moments?
Yesterday I had a day off and I took my time to stroll through the streets of Zurich.
As a compensation – at least some kind of.
Eek, smoker ahead! Some take cover, others snap out their camera and shoot.
Continue readingMy last week was crazy stuffed with work, unbelievable short bedtimes in impersonal and desolate sterile hotel rooms – I was more than busy with my customers. Nevertheless it was a good week with some very quiet moments before and after the coaching.
