in silent thinking, storytelling

all the coulds and woulds I would do if I could

(Poem by Christian Speck, 2020.)

If I could I would

enjoy the warm light of the candles
admire the Christmas tree, sparkling white and shiny
listen to the silent breeze out there in the dark night
dream under the shimmering stars
and watch The Moon – my good old friend
– The Moon –
listen to my heart thinking about my world
enjoy the creative chaos in and around me
– in my lonely Scottish bothy.

wake up with the early wintry light
walk the wide flat and the steepest hills
to clear my mind
tell my visual story and thoughtful poetry
full of shading greys and tons of tones
go with the wind, the light and The Moon – my good old friend
– The Moon –
full of silver and magic
– in my lonely Scottish bothy.

If I could, if I only could. I would. –

If I wasn’t in my Scottish bothy
I would do exactly the same.

@home.

That’s what I do.

And by the way, did I already mention that it’s always good to have your camera with you?

  1. As I read this, this song came to my mind that goes wonderfully with this poem. Enjoy the sound…

Good to have your headphone with you… 😉
