Reflections and flares

Stopped down to F16 my LUMIX G 20 mm F1.7 II ASPH. lens shows some strong sun reflections and flares – most people are trying to avoid them – but I love them, as for me those sun flares are creative parts of my images.

Direct sun and strong backlight conditions give bright colors and tons of tones – specially bright greens and luminant yellows.

High contrasts – highs and lows

Overexposing and underexposing by one stop gives bright high keys and dark low keys.

High or low key – what do you like more? Both were taken at the same location. Me – for myself I can’t decide – I love them both.
