After a stormy night in Applecross I wanted to pass the famous Bealach na Ba (meaning: Pass of the cattle) through the mountains of the Applecross peninsula.

Yesterday I’ve been to Berne for a coaching lesson – and as always I was quite early and therefore had plenty of time to enjoy my two french croissants and to discover our small capital. Here are some of my images of the main station of Berne in the early morning sun.
I am still not sure which image looks best to me. What do you think – which one do you like most? I am curious to hear your opinion. Thank you a lot!

Back in my old film days I was processing my black and white negative films in my own darkroom – working on the finest 35 mm and 6×6 and 6×7 cm medium format negatives, and afterwards spent a lot of time in the positive darkroom to finally get fantastic fine art black and white prints on silver rich baryta paper.
Today I still love to shoot in black and white or even more in monochrome color using my modern digital cameras.
Here is a bunch of my recent monochrome images of three epic train stations in Basel, Paris and BĂ©darieux. I love the analogue film look of the images.

We decided to take the stairs. Stair A – to be accurate – just because of the form of the ‘A’ – it is quite similar to the Eiffel Tower.
