Minimal Blue Simplicity

Minimalism and focus on simplicity are core principles in photography. There are various ways to minimize and simplify – I would like to show you my top 4 tips.

Minimize. Simplify. Compose. Create.

4 tips:

  1. Simplify your gear – use only one prime lens.
  2. Minimize to monochrome – use only one color plus white.
  3. Focus and reduce on only one subject.
  4. Compose your images inside-out in your mind before pressing the shutter. Do not take pictures. Make them. Compose and create.

As an example – here are some of my images of last week. Structure:

Top large image:
1- w/o stroke border and w/o margin
Small images:
2.1- w white stroke border and grey margin
2.2- w white stroke border and white margin
2.3- w white stroke border and light grey margin
