Photowalk. Niederweningen and Zurich. Switzerland.
November 30, 2019.
How often have I been rushed from meeting to meeting, flying over the streets of Zurich and was missing many inspiring moments?
Yesterday I had a day off and I took my time to stroll through the streets of Zurich.
As a compensation – at least some kind of.

Eek, smoker ahead! Some take cover, others snap out their camera and shoot.
I wanted to travel light so I took the train from Niederweningen (the nearest train station from my home) to Zurich – travelling without car means no traffic jam, no battle for the parking lot – no hurry at all – in fact much more quality of life and a ton of time to veg out and take some quick snaps already from the train.

From the train, a few moments after departure at Niederweningen.
Zurich

Spots of light. Zurich, Bahnhofstrasse.
As usual around Black Friday and Cyber Monday the streets of Zurich were crazy crowded yesterday. Nevertheless I focused on the spots of light and left the stress to the others …
And after observing and smiling at countless shopping victims (to be honest: Actually before getting one of them myself!) and numerous snappy photographs I had enough of this stressed out mob for today and decided to go back home.
Back home

Back in Niederweningen again. Listening to the sound of silence. And then go for the walk home.

A selfie on my walk home. Only me, my shadow, nothing but fresh air and a colorful yellow line.
